Description
The HPE Q9D30A is a 32 Gbit Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver module engineered as an OEM replacement for high-throughput storage area network (SAN) connections. This short-range (SR) unit operates at 32 Gbit FC line rates and uses the hot-swappable SFP+ form factor for deployment in compatible HPE Fibre Channel adapters and switch ports.
The SR (short range, short-wave) variant is intended for short-reach links over multimode fiber, typical within a data center rack or between adjacent racks. It suits mission-critical storage environments where low latency and reliable fabric connectivity matter.
