LTO Ultrium internal tape drives are high-capacity, high performance tape drives. Both models are ideally suited for backup, restore and archive applications and provide excellent performance and reliability in stand-alone, automated and SAN-attached environments. With superior performance and capacity, the LTO internal tape drives are an excellent alternative to SDLT, ¼ inch, 4mm or 8mm tape drives The third-generation IBM TotalStorage® Ultrium Tape Drives T800 (SCSI) and T800F (Fibre Channel) are designed to help meet the storage challenges faced by IT organizations today.
